Deema X Kish in Worthing ...

The second of the double bills consists of collaborators and pillars of Underground rap in the UK; Deema & KISH!

Deema started his career as a part of the Lewisham grime collective, The square, Founded by two of grimes first prodigies Novelist and Elf kid. From sharpening his lyrical knife in the Rinse FM studio Deema took a hiatus and used that time to form his own sound, and thank the gods of grime that he did. Deema’s another example of an MC that's formula is not having a formula, From the Punchy yet cheerful ‘Rainbow’ to the ominous and atmospheric ‘Rat Race’ to the otherworldly banger ‘I WISH I HAD TO’, Deema keeps people guessing with the common thread being they’re all absolute anthems.

Our other headliner being none other than the underground king himself, Kish! Fantastic, aptly named Kish! Has never provided a dull verse, be that going back to back with gruff londoner Reckz capo over the menacing instrumental of ‘Flintstones’ or riding the ethereal rhythm of ‘Work Like’ with BXKS. There's an inherent confidence to Kish right down to the exclamation point in his name. Both acts' most popular song to date is a ballad with so much 90’s flavour that I’m not convinced that they didn’t time travel with a cassette of this single in hand; Maddie. A love ballad of sorts that see’s Deema and Kish go back to back trading tales of love and heartbreak. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the dynamic duo perform their first dual headline live at Worthing’s own AudioActive on Saturday the 15th of October
